Water Heater Product Specialist
Reports To: Director of Water Heaters
Travel: Common within the Famous Supply footprint
Position Summary
Famous Supply is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Water Heaters Product Specialist to support and grow our water heater category across our core footprint. This role is responsible for increasing market share, supporting sales teams, driving product adoption, and managing pricing programs to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical product knowledge with a sales-oriented mindset and thrives in a highly visible, field-focused role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth of water heater products across all assigned markets
- Partner with branch teams and outside sales to increase market penetration
- Promote new product launches and vendor programs
- Provide product training and technical support to sales teams and customers
- Develop and implement pricing programs in coordination with leadership
- Analyze sales performance and identify growth opportunities
- Support strategic vendor relationships
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends
- Participate in Trade Show Events
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in plumbing, water heaters, or related HVAC industry
- Strong understanding of water heater products (tank, tankless, commercial, etc.)
- Proven ability to drive sales growth
- Experience with pricing strategy and contract management preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel within the Famous Supply footprint regularly
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
