IT Senior SQL Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Application Integration & Database Developer to join our team in Fairlawn, OH. This position will be in office a majority of the week, must be a local candidate. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL database design, development, and optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our database solutions meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL databases and queries to support business operations.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.

· Develop and maintain database schemas, indexes, and other database objects.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, capacity, replication, and distributed data systems.

· Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable code for various database applications.

· Perform data analysis, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality.

· Implement and enforce data security measures, including access controls and encryption.

· Support the creation and population of Data Warehouse objects for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database processes, procedures, and structures.

Qualifications:

· 8+ years of experience with SQL Server, Integration Services, and Reporting Services.

· Experience with C# is a plus.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Senior SQL Developer or similar role, with a strong background in SQL database design and management.

· Expertise in SQL programming, query optimization, and performance tuning.

· Solid understanding of database design principles, including normalization and indexing techniques.

· Familiarity with database security and backup procedures.

· Knowledge of data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
