Janitor

Position Summary: 
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure all assigned areas are cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Clean and maintain 16 bathrooms daily, including: 

• Toilets, sinks, mirrors, and partitions 

• Restocking soap, paper towels, and toilet paper 

• Sweeping and mopping floors 

• Emptying trash  

• Perform deep cleaning duties as scheduled: 

• Scrubbing tile and grout 

• Floor stripping, waxing, and buffing 

• Carpet cleaning 

• High dusting and vent cleaning 

• Clean and sanitize kitchen and breakroom areas, including: 

• Countertops and tables 

• Sinks and appliances 

• Microwaves and refrigerators (interior and exterior) 

• Sweeping and mopping floors 

• Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility 

• Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors 

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies 

• Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines 

• Report maintenance or repair issues to management 

Qualifications: 

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred 

• Ability to handle physical workload (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods) 

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively 

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs 

• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching 

• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals 

Work Schedule: 

• Full-time 

• May require evenings or weekends
