HR Corporate Business Partners are responsible for strategic collaboration with leaders to build and develop a strong workforce and align HR initiatives and functions with Famous’ goals and objectives. Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful relationships with Associates to cultivate a safe, trustworthy, and supportive space
  • Understand leaders’ staffing goals, develop strategy to deliver, then execute
  • Support leaders through performance evaluation and Associate development
  • Advise leaders on topics such as ADA, FMLA, and compensation
  • Collaborate with leaders to increase associate engagement and retention
  • Practice continuous improvement by reviewing and revising departmental processes and developing new processes as needed
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Responsible for managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Coach leaders on performance improvement and having important conversations
  • Partner with leaders to ensure new associate onboarding process is executed
  • Address Associate issues and conduct investigations when necessary
  • Ensure that the company complies with HR-related laws and regulations and that HR policies and procedures are consistent with the company's values and objectives
  • Lead HR projects 
Required Experience and Skills
  • Human Resources, or related, experience
  • Internal customer service mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Recruiting and succession planning
  • Effective communication and teamwork
Preferred Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years HR Generalist Experience
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • Experience in an office environment
  • Recruiting experience
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Experience in ADP WorkForce Now and JazzHR
